Mergers and acquisitions, from both sides of the table.
I have helped founders sell and shared in the outcome, and I have acquired, combined and grown businesses myself. That changes how I look at growth: not as this month's numbers, but as what the business will be worth to the right buyer.
i.
Preparing to sell
Exit readiness for founders: what buyers actually look at, where value leaks, and how to engineer the business for a stronger multiple before you go to market.
ii.
Acquiring and combining
Buy-and-build with an operator's eye: finding the right targets, combining them well, and cross-selling across what you own.
iii.
Growth that raises the multiple
PR, AI search, SEO, paid media and CRO run as one engine through SugarNova Group, structured to make a brand worth more and easier to acquire.
Four steps, on your timing.
- 01A private first callWhere you are and what you want from the business.
- 02An honest read on valueHow an acquirer would see it today.
- 03A plan to raise itThe changes that move the multiple, in order.
- 04The right deal, when readySell, partner or acquire.
Much of it is under NDA.
You will not find deal names, figures or sectors here, and yours would never appear either. What you will find is a straight answer about what your business is worth and what would change it.
Questions founders ask
Is a first conversation confidential?
Yes. A first conversation is private and on your terms. Nothing is shared without your agreement, and many conversations never go further than advice.
What should I bring to a first call?
A rough picture is enough: what the business does, recent revenue and margin trends, where customers come from, and what you want from the next few years.
Why does marketing affect what a business is worth?
Buyers pay more for growth they can trust. Demand that comes from a strong brand, search visibility and repeat customers is worth more than growth bought month to month with ads.
Do you only work with businesses that want to sell?
No. Many founders want to grow value first and decide later. The work is the same: make the business stronger and easier to own.
